Dear Members,
 

While May has brought plenty of rain to Athens, progress continues steadily at both the golf course and the Downtown Club.  We got nearly 8" of rainfall in May, and the average rainfall for Athens is close to 4".  June has continued with much of the same pattern.  Our team has been able to continue shaping the golf course, and prepping the green complexes for sprigging, but the rain has slowed progress on completing the irrigation pond which has caused delays in our grassing schedule.  The weather has not slowed progress on the Downtown Club.  We received approvals for the electrical and fire suppression systems, clearing the way for the ceiling installation and start of the millwork.   Our July update will have more details on the schedule and expectations for the opening of the Downtown Club, and grassing of the golf course. 

On the merchandise front, we've partnered with several outstanding vendors to expand the product offerings available to our membership. We're excited to now offer items from the following brands:

The Holderness & Bourne portal remains available via the member website, and the Titleist portal is now fully integrated for your convenience.

Ordering Details:

• Titleist orders can be placed directly through the portal.

• For all other brands, please email your order—including style number, size, and color—to adam@therosegc.com.

• The deadline to place orders for Peter Millar, Winston, and Asher is July 7.

We're also working with two additional vendors to expand our women's apparel and accessories offerings—more to come soon.

Many members have inquired about how they will pay for the merchandise.  We now have our point of sale system up and running and will send our first member statements out in July.
